Introduction
Admission to the MSc takes place through entrance examinations, following a call for applications published on the programme’s website.
Admitted Students
Graduates of Law Faculties from universities in Greece, as well as graduates of recognized equivalent institutions abroad, are eligible for admission.
The maximum number of students admitted each year is thirty (30).
The Programme
Programme Structure
The MSc is structured into three (3) academic semesters.
- During the first and second semesters, students must attend and be examined in four compulsory courses per semester.
- During the third semester, students prepare their Master’s thesis.
- The language of instruction and thesis writing is Greek.
- A total of 90 ECTS credits is required to obtain the Master’s degree.

Duration of Studies
The time required for awarding the Master’s Degree is three (3) semesters.
Degree Awarded
The programme awards a Master of Science (MSc) in “Criminal and Criminological Sciences”.
Tuition Fees
Fees
Total tuition fees amount to €900, i.e. €300 per semester.
Students may be exempt from tuition if they meet:
- Academic excellence criteria (degree grade ≥ 7.50), and
- Income criteria set by law, provided they have not already received a similar exemption in another MSc programme.
Fee-exempt students may not exceed 30% of the total admitted students.
If eligible applicants exceed this percentage, selection is based on lowest income ranking.
Applications for fee exemption are submitted to the programme secretariat after the admission results are finalized.
Scholarships
Provided that operational needs are covered, the programme grants one scholarship to the top-ranked admitted student, in the form of full exemption from tuition fees.
